Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccccccccccccccccck

Oh ffs, that can't be true 🙁 🙁

Kelly done his knee too.

We're fucking cursed i tell ye.

How can Borini have a broken leg? Didnt look injured.

Great news on a great day.

Rodgers says Agger has a problem with the medial ligament and Borini swollen ankle.

A medial ligament injury isnt necessarily any better than a broken leg. It could be a lot worse

Well, at least Agger hasn't signed a new contract yet or been sold for 22 mil. I love Agger the player, but this is the reason he has always been salable in my eyes.

Well he's not. He's had a really bad recurring back problem, like Gerrard used to have. Apart from that he's picked up one or two other injuries that aren't that uncommon for defenders that aren't afraid to get in where it's dangerous. He's also an immensely classy defender, and that makes me pleased we have him and eager to see him sign another contract. Most players of his quality would be off like a shot to a team at the other end of the table.

The two broken rib injuries have been indicative of his fragility, in the past 2 seasons. He gets injured easily, its so obvious that I won't argue it.

Completely agree here that I dont have to argue.

I wouldn't sell him for peanuts I just thought 22mil seemed like it was worth cashing in on an injury prone player. Especially because I trusted Rodgers to spend it on quality players to fit his system.

Medial ligament is usually not a bad injury. Typically heals without surgery in weeks not months.

Can be bad, but usually not. I have had one. Back on field in 5 weeks.

the way agger got injured was his own fucking fault, why did he let the ball get past him, one of them should have flattened Valencia, shite goal

well, it depends as it generally may lead to meniscus (cartilage) as the medial ligament does attach to it as it passes from the femur to tibia.

True, but meniscus damage can also usually be dealt with with a small orthroscopic surgery that is not too difficult to recover from. I'm staying optimistic.

Skrtel had medial ligament damage and was rubbish for a year after he returned, but that looked worse at the time than Aggers injury
