From The Times 😱
Liverpool boss, Kenny Dalglish, looks set to test Steve Bruce's resolve in the summer with a £7m pound move for robust Sunderland defender, Titus Bramble.
The Scot, along with Damien Comolli, has earmarked Bramble, 29, as the perfect addition to the centre of the Reds' defence after growing increasingly tired of Daniel Agger's long-term injury problems and with Jamie Carragher entering the twilight of his career.
Comolli is a long-term admirer of Bramble, and had previously scouted him while at Tottenham. He is believed to be looking for more physical, athletic players for Liverpool this summer, as well as improving the club's English quota, and the Sunderland man fits the bill.
This addition to the squad certainly raises concerns for the likes of Daniel Agger and Martin Skrtel, who are attracting interest from the Bundesliga, with the former intimating that he doesn't expect to be at Anfield beyond the end of this season.
