But, the game was seriously marred and played in eerie conditions as it emerged during the first half that a fan had passed away at the game, due to a heart attack.

During the second half, a rumour emerged that another Borussia Dortmund fan had had a heart attack at the game, but said supporter was confirmed as being in stable condition before the game completed.
