Borussia Dortmund Clear Out

The club has over the last couple years amassed an array of attacking talent, it's clear some of those players the club will look to get rid of and others who they will let go for but at a premium. The likes of Puislic and Dembele are players they will keep and only a silly astronomical offer will only prize them away.

I think from the ones I list below I can see 4 of them going this coming transfer window

Marco Reus, as good as he is, just too injury prone and chances the club will cash in on him if a good offer comes in. I would put a valuation of £40m plus.

Aubameyang, he is been wanting to leave with the preferred destination RM, the press value him at £75m

Mario Gotze disappointing season with only 11 games played in the league, reported valuation £20m I would rather have The Ox.

Shinji Kagawa played 21 games in the league with with 6 assists and 1 goal, at the age of 28 I would think they would let him go for £15m

Emre More played only 475 minutes scoring one and assisting in 3. His transfer fee was only £8m last season. I can see them getting anything from £12-16m.

André Horst Schürrle was bought for £25m and missed 20 games last season. I would imagine they would let him go for £30m

Nuri Sahin missed 21 games last season through injury was only purchased for £6m 2 years ago. I would imagine they would want him off the wage bill so low fee around £5m is likely to see him leave.

I'd pass on most of those players for the reasons already set out.

Aubameyang - if he became available to us, just do it.

Emre Mor is the other i'd be interested in albeit i have doubts about him. He's a real hit or miss signing, he hasn't figured out how to translate the obvious skills he has into him being an effective attacker yet.

Reus suffered a partial cruciate ligament tear last Saturday and will be out for months. Gotze's was diagnosed with a rare metabolic illness (announced in March) while they are in talks to extend Kagawa's contract, which expires at the end of next season. With the no. of injuries Dortmund had to juggle with this season, it is highly doubtful they will be tempted to offload before they make any replacement signings.

Emre Mor is 19 years old. Dortmund wont be looking to sell him.

Big Yes to Aubameyang

I don't think he's one we should even consider take a chance on right now, he really needs to show he can make a name for himself with Dortmund first.

His talent is clear as day, however there are and have been some concerns over his attitude.

Even earlier, in January 2016, Tuchel had fallen out with head scout Sven Mislintat, who had unearthed strikers Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The pair clashed over the transfer of Atletico Madrid's Oliver Torres, and it resulted in Mislintat, a close companion of sporting director Michael Zorc, being banished from Dortmund's training facilities.

I say we should sign this guy. And if Tuchel leaves, would that give us an opportunity to use this period of uncertainty to snag someone like Pulisic or Dembele?

Nah. You scouted aubamayang and even big sam at Blackburn was after lewandowski

Reus has the potential to be the next Aqualani. The talent is real, the legs are on borrowed time. No way he'd pass a medical.

PEA will walk to most teams, i read somewhere that Origi has more goals at the same stage of his career as PEA. Ouch. Still, for £75m, I think he'll go to Barca, which in la la land, gives me hope for Suarez to come back to us. Jokes.

Mor and Dembele are too young to move especially as they only joined last year. Pulasic is one who may be unsettled if Tuchel goes. Cheeky £40m bid may be enough if a new manager comes in.

I really dont think Reus and Aquilani should be compared even if they are both injury-prone. A gulf between them in class.

And when/if he does: he won´t be joining us.

Well saying you need to sell a player or two in a specific area is hardly grounds for saying there is a clear out.

A clear out would indicate a tonne of players
I said 4 out of those 7 will leave, they'll probably buy a couple more players. Now I could be wrong but they are according to the CEO looking to shed some weight around the midfield.

The clearout has begun it seems.
Starting with the manager.. Tuchel has been sacked apparently.

Decent manager with quite a bit to offer, wonder if a prem team might be in for him.. Arsenal?

Great fit for Arsenal. Will have no shortage of suitors I should imagine.

Well, lots of opportunities for him this season - he's entering the market at the right time.

Bayer Leverkusen still needs a manager; looks like they might not offer Tayfun Korkut the job.

Spaletti just left Roma, so there's an opening there. Inter needs a new manager. Milan might be hiring a need manager.

Unai Emery's job at PSG might be a bit shaky too after what happened this season.

Sampaoli's taking the Argentina job, so the Sevilla job is open. That one seems to be going to the Celta Vigo manager, but who knows.

And of course, if all else fails, there's the bunch of clubs in the Premier League who could dream of landing a high-profile, young, attack-minded manager like him (e.g. West Ham, Crystal Palace, Leicester, Stoke). Whether he wants to go to a club at that level is a different story though.
