Borini update

Hopefully he comes back in good form. I thought he looked quite good tbh. Good movement and hopefully he'll find his shooting boots

I like Borini.

I think he's possibly trying too hard but I reckon he's got a good attitude and the skills to be a hit with us.

Apparently he's due to return in a few weeks. Boxing day against Stoke. Yay!

That article might be bollocks mate?:

Sky article is a bit ambiguous, but looks like he'll be back more like Feb time, and that's closer to what physioroom are saying.

I'm pleased he's doing well and recovering quickly, but from what I saw of him, it'd be a coin flip between who'd get more goals in a season between him and Lucas. Maybe he can only do it if he's played through the middle, and for a good run of games. But if that is the case, I'm not sure why we bought him, as he's not going to get that run anytime soon.

An attacking momo then

Remember when Benitez stuck Momo attacking midfield so he could win the ball higher up the pitch or something? Jesus.

I did love Momo, though. When he was good he was immense.

Enrique offers a lot more than Borini on the left.

I only want to see Borini through the middle as a back up striker.

FSG will unveil him as our marquee January signing and grin as the masses fail to spot the con.

Where ARE those wankers anyway? You couldn't shut them up last year and now you're more likely to see Ben bloody Gunn than either of them!

Nah Borini said on the official site that he'll be back for boxing day.

I think he will come good if we give him time. I've nothing to base it on just a feeling.

He has scored this season already and his movement is excellent . Will be a good bonus when he is back .

Honestly I don't see it and I see him taking game time from Suso and Shelvey, hope I'm wrong like but saw nothing that would improve the current team and plenty to suggest he could weaken what we already have out there

I'd like that too but in his interview in the offal, he mentioned he'll be back in Liverpool on Boxing Day. I presumed that meant he was recuperating after his surgery and doing his rehab at the moment in Italy. Didn't strike me as him being available for action by then.

I would say that he looked anxious to make a good start. He'll be a good player for us.

This. When he left the Chavs to go back to Italy their fans were sorry to see him leave. Rushie was a waste of space in his early games too, and look how *that* turned out.
