Erm. No match thread?
Well there is now.
Sion lost to Rubin so a win for us puts us top of the group.
Come on red men!
 
I honestly can't believe he's injured again, I'm not surprised, but yet I'm allowing myself to be pissed off! I dunno why I'm doing it to myself...
 
There's a few weak links in the line up and the bench isn't particularly strong either. Hope we have enough to get a result.

I didn't really go with the whole 'fragile mentality' thing before with Sturridge, but complaining of discomfort? Jesus. If Tommy Smith or any of that generation complained of discomfort every time he felt something was a bit fucked he'd have never started a game.
Grow some fucking balls.

If it was a game against Man U or some other top team I'd be with you on that. But the discomfort excuse is good enough for Bordeaux in the EL.
 
I'm not going to get to watch this. Can someone like @Modo who knows stuff be so kind as to send me (PM?) a link of a site that allows you to download games or at least extended highlights?

I'd agree with you on that if this wasn't 3rd come back this season alone! It woulda been the perfect game to get some match fitness back...
 
I also wanna say thanks again to the guys like gkmacca and modo who put in the effort with the streaming and highlights for the games. I'm gonna be watching this one from inside a seacan on a construction site, gotta be a first?

Absolutely, but consider this. He plays with this "discomfort", aggravates it and now he's out for two additional months. Was it worth it for some fitness?
