How the fuck have United gone so shit in such a short period of time.
Like utter shit. And I dont mean the football, I mean the playing staff. Look at their team tonight, really tragic and uninspiring. How did that happen so fast.

They're six points ahead of us and have beaten us four times in the last four games.

That's tragic

Yeah but weve been shite for years. They seemed to go from a league winning team to that scratch side in no time. They have spent about 400m quid since Fergie left and its a fucking shambles.

The team Ferguson left behind was on it's last legs and they were pretty lucky to get another title out of it.

I didn't think they'd suffer as much as they have done but they have a reasonable shot of getting into the top 4 again and all the money in the world to spend big in the summer once more. Could be worse for them.

I agree. Looking at Man United team tonight before the kick-off and thinking: who the fuck are all these people? They are firmly in the rebuilding phase now.

The team Ferguson left was declining. Defenders were getting on, Rooney getting fat, no midfielders. Moyes being given the job was a collosal mistake and they're been muck since.

The clowns for BT tonight , Macca included were going on about how fergie left the club in the best possible place lol

They're seriously shit. Relying on kids, even very talented ones like Martial and Rashford to bail them out sums them up.

They never were as good as the titles they one but fergie kept them focussed and disciplined with a desire to win. None of the other teams including us could match those characters. If they were that fucking good then we would never have won a single game at old toilet in their glory years. Fact is we won quite a few and part of me believes they were successful only because they had our targets to beat.

More fantastic reasoning and logic, moron

Feels great being so many places higher than them in the table.

To be fair Gene, LVG has had 2 seasons and a shedload of money, whilst Klopp's not really signed anyone and not yet a season.

And yet we're looking like we have a coherent enough plan/style and growing confidence / solidity whilst Utd look clueless. If we don't finish ahead of them (having understandably trailed them for much of the season) I'd be amazed.

Just being a bell. That's all.

How have they spent £300m ?

I had to laugh when they kept bringing fullbacks on last night. They really have gone to shit. Hopefully it long continues

I must say, for all everyone is saying this is the worst Utd team in 20 years, I think they are better than Moyes' United. Remember us beating them easily at OT 0-3? They barely touched the ball. OK, we had Suarez, but we beat them all over the park. They're clearly not great but they're not as bad as everyone thinks.

They have some very good players, but (a) not enough of those and (b) a cloud hanging over them which it'll now take a new manager to dispel IMO.

However, while I hate to say it, their winning habit runs very deep and that can somehow come to a team's rescue even when they don't really deserve it. We needed that to happen for us at times in the glory years, and by and large it did.

Boooooo.

Well, you could look at negatively, or it could be that we just beat a side who aren't that shit, in fact, who are actually still pretty difficult to face at OT, thus demonstrating that Klopp's team is coming together nicely.

There's a high chance tht Ferguson would've won the league with this same team. IIRC they were just a couple of points off the top in December .
