Following on from the totti thread, who is the best player to only play for one club. I suppose you can use players who have played for other clubs while on loan before people get all 'statto' on us.
There are the likes of le tiss, maldini, gerrard (So far) scholes, giggs, etc

I can't quite believe you've put Matt Le Tissier's exploits for fucking Southampton in the same sentence as Paolo Maldini.

'That Andy Goram, he was just like Dino Zoff'

Hard to go past Maldini.

Seems like he has been playing for Milan since the 1800's.

Sad that the hardcore fans didn't like his off the field antics.

Put a slur on his final game.

raul, casillas and Carragher!

Funnily enough Raul started his career at Atletico.

Only as a youth player.

Someone mentioned Ian Callaghan on another thread. He is our link between being in the 2nd Division (1959) and winning the European Cup (1977).

I wouldn't call refusing to associate with the Ultras "antics "

He would be an excellent shout if he hadn't played for a few other clubs after he left us. Sadly he did.

If Gerrard stays here and wins a few more trophies, he'd be a good shout. I'd probably go with Maldini now though.

I was going to say Bryan Gunn, but didn't realise he played a handful of games in his native country.

Ledge. End.
