Forgive me if this has been discussed recently already

After their first season in the EPL there was quite a discussion around who had done better Kuyt or Berbatov, even tho' stats-wise they were about even.

Berbatov has gone on to be a big money target/signing for the Scum whilst Kuyt has quietly shifted out wide to accomodate Torres.

On balance who'd you prefer in our1st team squad: Berbatov or Kuyt?

Just kidding I'd rather keep Kuyt.
 
Hard to compare as they are polar opposites as players. One is lazy and self indulgent, the other is indefatigable and selfless. Both are quality players with their own merits.
 
Kuyt's work ethic is inspiring. there are tons of kids with size and the ability to handle the ball, but really hard workers like kuyt are hard to come by
 
Kuyt many facets to his game and to label him as a hard working player does an injustice to his role for us. Yes he is hard working but he is also a fine player.

Kuyt does have qualirt, but Berbatov is undoubtedly technically superior. However, the way we are set up under Benitez, Kuyt is perfect for us. I doubt he would fit in Man Utd so well tho

He's more flexible and selfless and is contributing far more than Berbatov at present, who seems to struggling to find his feet after the 30M move to United

Both have been money well spent by Rafa and Spurs - not so much Fergie.
 
Well I'm obviously gonna say Dirk.

But I will say I think Berbatov's wildly underrate on here. He's a fantastic footballer, who's gonna click and come good for them at some point.
 
A manc supporting friend of mine thinks Berbatov is doing fine for them this season already.
