According to French media outlet, RMC, there are several clubs who have contacted Monaco about Mendy.

City, Utd, Chelsea, us and Barcelona. Fee is appaz 45 mill €.

A few French journos claim Mendy will join Bernardo Silva at City, total fee of 120 mill € for both.

City have released Clichy, Navas and Sagna today btw. Making room for new signings....,
 
No way we'll spend that on a full back. So never mind

Who was the mendy in our youth team?
 
Sounds like Silva is signing for city today account to SSN.

Poor the Monaco , build a great group up, play ace football , win the league and then get dismantled at the first opportunity.

They've already signed Tielemans. With the money they're getting from these player sales, they'll end up probably building a team that is just as exciting and good.

Mendy, Silva and Bakayoko will leave. Maybe Fabinho and Mpabbe as well. That will be some serious money generated through sales.

I suppose they were always looking for that anyway. They'd been accumulating this set of youngsters for a couple of years; so it's now time to reap the fruits. Maybe it's part of an owed favour for the transfer of the talented Rony Lopes from City to Monaco a couple of years ago. Perhaps a year or two from now, Lopes finds his way back to City, three times more than City sold him for. 😀

I'd suggest it's be lofty to expect a title winning side to lose half of its first team , replace them all and not lose the funk.
 
KDB, Sterling, Benjamin Silva, Sane, Gabriel Jesus. That is a strong core group of young players to build the side around. They will have Silva and Aguero for the next 2 years to guide them also. City have done well on the attacking front.
