I love Bellamy to bits, and I am so glad he is back, and I was sad to see him go in the first place. But he can only blame himself for being sold first time round.

Did he leave at the same time as Crouch and then we bought Keane?
If so, we would have won the league with Rafa that year we finished 2nd.
That feels so long ago.[/quote]
Nope. He left in the 07/08 summer transfer window, with Momo. In the same window, we got Torres and Voronin.
Crouch left and Keane joined in the following summer transfer window.
I think Bellamy missed a fair chunk of games with West Ham and City in the 3 seasons after he left, so while I didn't want to see him leave, perhaps it was a bullet dodged at that time. Then again, I'm sure Bellamy with one eye and a leg in a cast would still have done better than Voronin.
Regarding Bellers getting blatantly elbowed in the face in the box.... is it true that because the ref failed to even give a yellow for the straight red offence is it true that we can still get that cunt collocini done for violent conduct? It was a blatant assault, Bellamy was in front of him for fucks sake and they weren't jumping etc.... I know that we've been open season for refs all season but surely...
The irony of having sammon sent of for nothing on the halfway line of old toilet while collocini got nada didnt escape me..
AH.... i get it.....if they ban him now then Newcastle lose their best defender for the mancs...... its not ironic at all now is it....just more of the same.
A great signing, and just what you want from an older signing. Still clearly has as much enthusiasm for playing football as he had as a youngster, but also has great experience and seems a lot calmer these days compared to what he used to be like
Another player with great skills but he hasn't always been consistent or sometimes motivated has he? He seems like a perfectionist who lets the occasional error by himself or a team mate overly effect him.
The on form Bellers you want in the team. Age and experience may be a help to him stay calm to not beat himself up so much when things don't go to plan.
At the moment he's an inspiration, long may it continue.
