Fr those who don't mind paying for streams, a service that used to run has started again.

They have 720p hd streams, I've just tried them & apart from a slightly lower frame rate (like watching an older lcd tv, not jerry but slight blur when you look at players running) it's indistinguishable from sky hd. Mental. It's as good as hulu or Netflix, & except 3pm kick offs, uses sky UK source.

They have iPhone & android apps (tested both, work perfectly ) as well as a XBMC plug in (watched first half of citeh match, perfect again, flawless in fact).

I'm not gonna post the url here, so if you want it PM me.

Prices:
1 day pass - £2
1 month - £5
2 months - £7
1 year - £27.99 (including the full PL season)

I wouldn't recommend the year cos the sites often die then come back a week later with a new name, but the 2 month option is no brainer for most people I'd imagine next season.

And no, I'm not affiliated with them, though I wish I was!

If that is the old LOF then it is pretty damn good at the moment . If not then can I have a link to it . I have given out a few pms for LOF myself but I think it is wise to not post the URL.
If you enter your old username and password it seems to work without payment by the way. I had a season pass but it also seems to work for others.

It is yeah mate, have you tried the xbmc plug in or the apps yet? They're fucking impressive. Once set up they could be a 'proper' sky app or similar, pretty much seamless.

I'm assuming they're giving all old pass holders the end of this season gratis as they dont have records who paid until when.

Plus it means we do stuff like this. Free advertising!

I may get the info from you about this next season

If anyone wants it for next season I'd recommend registering & making the one day payment. Simply cos that means if they do shutdown & start under a new name they'll email you to let you know cos they add your email to their database.

What sort of connection speed do you need? My max dl speed is about 12Mb/s.

Thats a good idea mate.
I think I know the site as I have heard it mentioned on another forum.
Might be worth a speculative £2 or £5 to get myself in the loop.
As a measure how would the quality compare to something like the very best wiziwig streams.
I know they can be unreliable but on its day some of the ace stream are to me perfect.
@FoxForceFive

That'd be fine mate. I was watching HD streamed films when I was on 10Mb/s with no problems at all.

If you did struggle they have an SD option too, which I'll be using should I need to stream whilst out & about using the app.

The Reds XI in full is: Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Carragher, Agger, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Downing, Coutinho, Sturridge.

Subs: Jones, Coates, Skrtel, Wisdom, Suso, Shelvey, Borini.

Newcastle going 4-3-3 / 4-2-3-1 with Perch and Tiote holding midfield allowing Cabaye operate a bit further forward. Gouffran misses out.

Elliot
Debuchy Yanga-Mbiwa Haidara
Perch Tiote
Cabaye
Sissoko Cisse Gutierrez

I'll give it a go. Can you PM me a link please.

Well Bex came in earlier & I asked her what she thought. She looked at me confused, & I told her it wasnt the telly, she was bemused, looked carefully & said 'it looks exactly like the telly. Shame it's footy' & walked out.

I'd compare it to a HD Fox/Netflix/Hulu stream, no pixelation at all & only a slighty lower than tv frame rate to show the difference between Sky HD & this stream.

Also, I should add that's 'on it's day'. In my experience streaming sites you pay for are wayyyy more reliable than free ones, & £7 for two months is next to nothing really, esp when you consider with the app you're effectively getting the sky go app alternative gratis.

Just noticed the kahn fight is on later too. Bonus.

Superb that FFF. Near TV picture quality and the stuttering was barely noticeable. I paid £5 for a month to see the season out, but they could have the money just for that game.

Glad you agree, it's by far the best stream I've ever seen.

Yeah I'm all set up on it, works like a bloody charm 😀

Indeed. Fucking impressive. I hope that this stays open or a fair few of them do the same (that live streaming app is clearly able to adapt to any site) cos it's fantastic.

Showed my mate this afternoon & he reminded me of the time 8 years ago we tried to watch a stream in his & gave up as it was so blurry (in a "6 window) & stopped so often it was useless.

The increase in bandwidth globally should help these type of sites become even more common.

The silly thing is, if Sky had done this years ago and didn't take the piss on prices, then I'd go legit. As it is, this is much better and very well done.

I hope, and half suspect, that the length of time it's took them to get going again means that they will be running for a good long time again.
