6 points adrift from Real in La Liga and were roundly outplayed by Real Sociedad at the weekend, extremely lucky to escape with the draw. I don't think I've seen Barca play so badly since the 90's. If they lose clasico at the weekend, I wonder if Luis Enrique will survive this season.

I've said for about ~2 years how disappointing Iniesta has been - but it's rather obvious how important he is to that team since his absence.

Their front 3 have not been as dominant as they're capable of being ... If they switch on, they should be ok.

It's the chance Big Sam has been waiting for. The stars are aligning.

Barca are at home and wouldn't put it past them to smash Real. Real's best player this season has been Bale, and he's now long term broken, and Ronaldo's form has been really hit and miss as of late. At least once a season we usually get a thread on the sky falling in at Barca over the last few years, and they end up coming out of the sticky patch and normal service is resumed. They have changed their style under Enrique, but my only concern would be how this effects La Masia, as they've not changed anything there, so for the next generation I think they're going to have to go back to the previous style. So for me I think they're not committed to Enrique long term.

Didn't they have a poor first half in Enrique's first season and really turn it on in the second half after the break.

I think they're missing Iniesta in midfield - it's a bit ordinary without him.

Dani Alves was also quite an important outlet for them and hasn't really been replaced with a top quality like for like player.

Unless the attack moves up a few gears and carries this team I don't think they'll win anything this year.

Not surprising, when their Uruguayan striker has his heart set on a return to Anfield, that they are misfiring.
