FSG...that 75M was gonna come from somewhere was't it ? He will go this Jan but i was really hoping we would get Lucas Moura but it looks like united are gonna get him. Fuck knows now.

Yes I'm leaning towards this, all reports over last few days seem to be consistent in that €130m is the fee, which would suggest Barcelona aren't keen on a January premium.
How about a summer world cup premium ?

My feeling is that Barcelona cannot afford Coutinho (or more precisely meet Liverpool's valuation of him) and is merely using his name for presidential elections. If Barcelona doesn't meet Liverpool's valuation, he won't go. €130 million is a finger-in-the-air number; Southampton soaked us for £75 million which just about everybody-- certainly Klopp-- admits is an insane amount but which Liverpool had to pay to get what it wanted, whether the player wanted to leave or not.

Oh I agree, but its very similar to the Suarez situation for me. He clearly wants to go. So if its sorted before the world cup, there is no premium to fleece Barca with.
And he will not want to spend the spring watching CL from the stands.
Rinse the fuckers I say. 130m Euros err Fuck right off. We should be commanding a minimum of £170m in the Jan window and if he has a belting world cup then they price is north of £190m. And I don't give a toss how Barca can't make the payments, we're not a charity shop.
Further more we should tell Barca everytime one of their players talks about Coutinho in the press the price goes up another £5m, everyone their sponsor pulls a Coutinho shirt stunt it's another £10m.

Barcelona kit manufacturers Nike advertised the club's shirts with Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho's name on the back.
Coutinho was the subject of failed bids by Barcelona in the summer and has been linked with joining them in January.
A listing, which has since been deleted, on the Nike website read: "Philippe Coutinho is ready to light up Camp Nou."
The Brazilian, 25, is sponsored by Nike and wears their boots.
Coutinho, who signed a five-year deal at the start of 2017, started the 2-1 win over Leicester City on Saturday and has six goals in his past seven games for Liverpool.
The Anfield club rejected bids of £72m, £90m and one in the region of £114m prior to the summer transfer deadline in Spain, which closed a day later than in England.
"I do not know how the future is going to be," said Coutinho in early December.
"What will happen in January, we will know it in January. I do not know if there will be an offer."
The BBC has contacted Nike and Barcelona for comment.

Barca's media cohorts will ramp up the media BS but nothing is happening until the Summer. Why would it ? Barca have LL wrapped up and must be favourites for the CL (which Coutinho couldn't play in anyway - I'd assume that alone would be a good enough reason for Coutinho to decide the Summer would be better fit, unless he wants an undeserved LL winners medal for his wall). To say nothing about Klopp would likely go mental if FSG sold him mid-season when we are now in full flow.
