Avg age of our squad

I haven't checked what the avg age is but I'm guessing it's about 27.
What I do know is that we currently have a first team squad that consists of a bunch 27-28 year olds. They're also our most important players.

Klopps contract ends in 2022.
Is he gonna leave us with an old squad just like Souness inherited, with not enough young players ready to take over?

It's a scary thing, especially with the market looking as it is.

Younger than Spurs and Chelsea. Three months older than City.

The difference is we have a clutch of great young players ready to take over when Klopp calls it time. I believe Klopps new assistant Pep Lijnders is held in high regard especially with young players and some tip him to take over if and when Klopp leaves. Although I would love Stevie G and Pep Lijnders combo.
