Let me start by saying that I want Kenny to stay.
There are rumours in the press about Kenny getting a two year deal, but it hasn't been confirmed.

Felix Magath was just sacked.
Van Gaal will probably also leave during the summer.

Personally, if the owners decide that Kenny isn't the best man for the job I prefer Van Gaal.

Van Gaal fucked up at Bayern, and I wouldnt want him here. He rejected the chance to improve his team because of stubborness, and now they're having a horrible season by their standards. FSG reportedly started negotiating a two year deal yesterday with Kenny, so I think its a moot point anyway.?The only managers I'd consider are Villas Boas and Klopp.

On a sidenote, Magath's back with Wolfsburg.

It's been a 'weird' season with the 'bigger' clubs flattering. The likes of Seville, Atletico Madrid, Werder Bremen, Wolfsburg, Juventus, Roma etc.

The potential issue with managers from European leagues is their eye for talent. They might be great man manager, great tactician etc but cos their influence in signings are kinda limited (no thanks to DOF/Sporting Director), its difficult to judge if they can spot a talent/bargain etc. Of cos that shouldn't cost them their rightful stake for claim and obviously the 'brighter' side is they'd be accustomed to working with someone else in making transfer moves.

Van Gaal sacked.

A club statement read: "The board, director of sport and president of FC Bayern took this decision together.

"After the 1-1 draw in Nurnberg yesterday and the renewed slide to fourth in the table, and with the threat of missing out on the minimum aim of a place in the Champions League next season, this decision was taken in FC Bayern's best interests.

"Louis van Gaal's assistants Frans Hoek, Jos van Dijk and Max Reckers have also been relieved of their duties."

Van Gaal falls out with absolutely everybody. He's a fine coach, and I might well employ him if a real clean-up job was needed (as GH did when he first came to us), but he's definitely not what we need now that we're finally on an even keel and looking to move forward.

I also hate Van Gaal after his spells at Barca

I do understand the thoughts of some that we should go for someone completely new to make sure this is a new start. However, I still want to see Kenny in the role for the next two years at least.

If it's not Kenny then the only manager I'd be happy to see us signing is Boas
