Aurelio injury

I assume he's on much less than Agger in which case I wouldn't mind keeping him just for his experience.

That said, it's a fucking joke.

Yeah it was his hamstring, apparently he also tore his calf, strained his back and broke a toe whilst walking off.

nevah!!

Ha ha unexpected, mr Alrightyo.

We are short in the left back position, but what a valiant performance by Robinson!

I love Fabio but if he's supposed to be a back up next season I kinda expect that he'll be you know, there to "back up"...

Suddenly so many players suffering hamstring injuries. WTF?

Was just about to post NEVER.

I love Fab. He'll be back. He always is.

Yes - and he'll be injured again 132 minutes later.

It's such a pity as when he's fit and gets a run in the team he looks very decent, ok not the fastest but he's so composed on the ball and calms things down nicely . But we can't really keep going on with this , weeks and months out to return for a game or 2 and then break down again so sadly I expect he will be off in the summer .

What?

Do you mean, suddenly and unexpectedly Fabio Aurelio got injured.

No doctor on the planet could keep Aurelio & Agger fit for a season. Let's thank them both and move them on.

Fabio and Danny are getting very Hargreaves/Anderton and Redders like.

Even Mr Kirkland maybe.

Bad luck for two very good players, get rid too expensive

Much as I'm a Fabio fan I think it was suicidal to have brought him back during the summer. Then again given Geriatric Budgie's signing's elsewhere maybe it was better he didn't get the opportunity to sign anothe Konchesky for the left.

Whatever the arguements pro/con he's got a contract for another season and there's no mileage in moving him on. He is class when fit.

Let him go.

He's a very good player and always has been, but you simply can't rely on him.

How long is he out for this time then?
[/quote]
Read that it wasn't that serious on the official. Didn't say how long.

It could be years, his little sprog tackled him in their back garden and put him out of action for months ffs

Looks like it's the hammy again.

Cut our losses?

Fabio looked genuinely ready to retire as he sat on the ground just afterwards. Seriously, I think he's just about had enough.
