I think they can be, but are largely inconsistent, thus meaning they aren't that much better.
 
They are a better side currently, but Young has been brilliant for them this season.
Hopefully getting beaten by Arsenal + missing Young + having to play rwice withing 48 hours will balance things. We can't be that bad for that long.
 
Carew at set pieces is my main concern.

Is he available for selection?

Nope, Not bollocks. Our 'team' is a fragile and loose collection of individuals. Thankfully some of those individuals are extremely talented.

At the moment they're a more cohesive unit and are clearly in better form, but even so they're only just ahead of us and I don't think they have more ability in their best XI than we do in ours. I'm fairly confident we'll finish ahead of them - more so than I am about Man.City and Tottenham for example.

they're not a better side, they have one tactic and that is to soak up pressure and try and hit on the break. When this fails they easily deflate like today when their bubble burst.

Whats all the fuss about this lad for?

Admittedly i haven't seen loads of him, but everytime i have watched him play he's been shite (today inc).
 
He is much much faster than most meaning he can blow past defenders on a counter. Has a phenomenal cross that creates many goal scoring chances. He scores and when he gets on form he near on unplayable for most right backs in the league. But best of all he'll still provide a moment of magic even when off form like he has been for most of this year imo.

Yes. He looked tired in the last third of the game. That can be expecte though following his lengthy absence and the fact that he is new to this league. Hope he manages to adjust and then we'll see what his real qulities are.
 
On paper due to rank bad form and awful squad depth we will get humped.

my gut feeling is we are going to play well and win.

Oh and them not having ashley young is a good thing, Cuellar was also one of their best players yesterday so im pleased he's out too...

Carra and Agger will need to be at their very best against Carew.

We need Torres and Stevie to turn it on finally. I think Lucas was tidy the other day and Aquilani looked reasonable, pleased to see Aurellio playing again and .... ah fuck it whom i kidding we look shit at the minute completely unbalanced too short too slow too shit generally and with absolutely no confidence managed by a deluded stubborn spik and owned by robbing yank cunts who lie for money.
