Ashley Cole

I think we should make a move for him ... He's better than anything we got and he'll improve us defensively and attacking wise.

There's a reason why a right back is playing on the wrong side ahead of him.

Mourinho has a strong preference for experienced players, so if Cole can't get a look in then you're on notice that he might be done

I dunno mate - I think there's something else there. He was fine last year, and I can't believe he's dropped that much from Rafa's term to Mourinho's.

Mourinho also sold Mata and didn't rate him, Ross. Just because he isn't playing, doesn't mean he's shit or finished.

that is where BR comes into picture, get him-get him

From Old Purslow's Almanac: 'Beware of Coles seeking big salaries' But of course, yes, he'd be a vast improvement.

... Mourning could be wrong. Well how about that.

Well the point I was going for was he's not really a great comparison for Cole. Terry is though.

He might be right, but I'd never take a gamble on a 140k a week 34 year old full back

His pace is going and as a defender who always used it to recover I think he's done as a top class lb after this season

Indeed, if Cole isn’t named in the England squad this Thursday for the friendly against Denmark at the start of next month it could be all over for the Chelsea left back, who has 106 caps.

Everton’s Leighton Baines has emerged as first-choice left back under Roy Hodgson.

And Hodgson could well see the time is right to blood Southampton’s Luke Shaw into the squad.

Shaw is a prime Chelsea target in the summer when Cole’s contract expires.

Cole could have several options in the MSL, but if he feels he has a point to prove in the Premier League, then I hear a move to Liverpool is a definite possibility.[/article]

I'd take Cole in an instant for a couple of seasons .. however his wage demands will mean he ends up in the MSL.

Has lost some of his pace but still a very good full back.
If he reduced his wage demands with 100k then a 1 year contract could be alright.
Still a moron though

Hilarious! He's past it!

Cissokho is good enough. Plus Enrique on his way back.

Cashley is an overrated piece of shit.
