Heard some stories about Turan causing problems at Galatasaray. He's more or less done there according to a Turkish friend of mine (Galatsaray fan). Newspapers in Turkey have also reported that he's bought a house in the Merseyside area.

Zidane, E'to and Henry have all reportedly bought houses in Merseyside over the years.
 
According to Arda Turans agent, discussions with Liverpool are ongoing. Galatasaray have already rejected a 7 million euro bid from us. Turan does not want to stay at Galatasaray, his preferred destination is as reported earlier, Liverpool.
City and other top European clubs are ready to swoop if this deal isn't finalised quickly.

An even better idea would be to snag Altintop on a free (contract expires in summer) aswell. He looks very impressive even though he hasn't been in the Munich team much this season. He has had Robben, Riberry Muller and pigfucker to contend with though for places.

Read elsewhere he was a freebie in the summer. He is an excellent player but hasn't any goals or assists all season long. Odd.

If we were going for a Bayern player (Robben and Ribery excepted) I'd go for their LB, Diego Contento. I thought he was really impressive against Lyon.
 
I got Turkish friends who support Fener, Besiktas and Gencer - they hate Gala, but all of them do agree that Arda is a top player.

he'll cost at least 10-12 million euro's, typical of us to be bidding a pittance

My guess is we'll stretch it out and lose him to City

We'll get this lad. He wants to join us, and apperantly we want him.

The price will probably be around 9 mill euros, if he wants to leave.


He won't go to City, we're his favoured destination.
 
This reminds me of the Mascher and Torres transfers. Players I coveted for years and wished we would land them, but never really expected us to do so.

Turan would become our best left winger/midfielder since McManaman.
 
For fucks sake, 13 million Euro is a bargain for a player who'd improve our left side immensely.

I don't think I want to log onto here (or anywhere) any more.

To be fair we are probably not in a position to make any major signings until the new owners are on board.

Looks forward to the summer '12 transfer window with great anticipation

Alls not lost yet. Its just the two clubs that have agreed a fee
 
We should tell Babel he has to go to Gala in a swap, else we'll send a hooded Skrtel round in a transit van with gaffa tape and a drill.
