Anyone use a Motorbike?

In an effort to save money I am going to ditch the car for a motorbike on weekdays.
It'll save us a fortune on toll fees, petrol, motor tax & insurance.

I have never really driven a motorbike before and would be very weary of taking it out on the road.
Any bikers amongst us? Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Particularly when it comes to good biking gear.

The bike I am looking at is a Suzuki An Burgman, with a 200cc engine it is basically an over-sized moped.
