Deserves his own thread, I think. I've never heard of him until 2 weeks ago, but now I have to say I'm just smitten by this player. He reminds me of young Pirlo – the real one; the precision in his passes, the perfect weight and he's like Pirlo that even the spin on the ball is perfectly matched to the run of the recipient. He also has very quick feet and never seems to run out of ideas. I don't care that he has a slight build, he's going to be a great player.







We absolutely must beat Spurs and whoever else is interested to his signature – if we only sign this lad and a quick winger/forward this summer, I would be very happy.
 
Didnt he say he wanted to stay at Dinamo for a few more years?

I don't know anything about this guy other than what I've seen from those vids but I'm not getting the Pirlo comparisons.

Whilst we're making outlandish comparisons, I'd say his style reminds me of Messi's.

His dribbling style reminds me of Iniesta 🙂
 
Looks very good. I'd much rather be making this type of investment that blowing £25M on another Lallana.

It's questionable if we need another player of this type, though.
 
You just know that we'll spend £35 million plus on Mane and Southampton will get this chap or someone like him for £10 million. Mane ill freeze at Liverpool and we'll go back to Southampton for Coric and pay another £35 million or so.

We have a new manager, who is known to develop players and not pay over the odds for them. If he wanted he would have splashed the £35 million on that Brazilian winger but he was not going to panic buy and pay over the odds .
He probably has a plan, and is going to look for players he can mould.

Pirlo played AM until he was around 22, that's why I'm making this comparison. Obviously a really talented player can make it in many positions, but I have a hunch that Coric will play deeper as he matures, because his passing seems to be the most outstanding feature of his game.
 
Yeah, I often think that kids I'd never heard of till yesterday who play in shit leagues aren't good enough for us.

Wait.. Too good for us? Everton is like over there.
