Hello guys,

I've just purchased 2 tickets to the Wigan match at home, they are in the Anfield Road end, lower, block 124, row 1.

They are listed as 'restricted view'

Does anyone know how 'restricted' we're talking here?

There won't be any posts or anything in front of you, it will just be that your eyeline will be level with the advertising hoardings.

You'll be fine mate.

I've got some in Main Stand MX row 32... just hoping that post isn't in line with the anfield road end goal...

If its row 1 and very near the goal you will be quite safe , row 1 and right by the Centenary and you could be in danger of being hit in the mush by a wayward shot from a man in red Debs

regards

If you're at the top of Anfield road, particularly at the corner with the Centenary, it means you have to kind of squat on your seat and tilt your head at 90 degrees to see fucking anything. It is a really shite view.

She's in row 1 though so it'll just be advertising hoardings & the odd photographer in her way, not too bad at all & Tbh being that close to the pitch feels amazing when the action is close, despite the lack of aerial view advantage.

You can see the full camber on the pitch (which somehow always still surprises me despite staring at it for hours before kick off in the days of the standing kop), the kicks, stamps & elbows that get missed by the cameras, hear the players shouting at each other & see the agony on faces making tackles in the last twenty minutes or having to find more energy to get a cross in or get back to defend.
