I know we talked briefly about him a year ago or so, but thought it would be worth a quick video of his hat trick for AZ Alkmaar at the weekend.

Yes, I know it's the Dutch league but his finishing shows power, placement, and patience. His assist was, as far as I can tell, a botched shot but who's counting? He's fast, big, strong. Not saying we should buy him but he's improving since his move overseas.

I liked him when he used to play for the NYRB, but he's not got many tricks. Bit headless. Another flatters to decieve, IMHO

He's a good player but I don't think he is good enough for LFC. Honestly the Dutch league is probably the perfect level for him.

He is very strong and holds the ball up well, has a nice shot and can score from distance but I just don't think he's good enough.

Yeah, I agree. The yank in me (well, I guess that's all of me) gets excited when a young American scores goals anywhere but in MLS.
