Alberto Moreno set to leave Liverpool on a free transfer

The Spanish left-back has lost his place to Andy Robertson and his expected departure is likely to see Adam Lewis given a chance in the first team

Liverpool are preparing to lose Alberto Moreno on a free transfer next summer - with youngster Adam Lewis in line to benefit most from the Spaniard’s departure.
Moreno’s Anfield contract is due to expire at the end of this season, and talks over a new deal have proven fruitless.
Liverpool are not currently in negotiations with the 26-year-old and his representatives, and the player is understood to be exploring alternative options. Moreno would be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club from January 1.

When he scored that goal against Spurs, we all thought, hang on a minute we've bought the new Riise..

How wrong we all where..

How about a wee January swapsie for Ramsey?

Uncertainty grows over Alberto Moreno's Liverpool future - with surprise top six rival tipped to swoop

Alberto Moreno's time at Liverpool could be drawing to a close - and Arsenal have become the latest club linked with interest in the Spaniard.
The 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and, having been forced out of Jurgen Klopp's starting 11 by both James Milner and Andy Robertson, it is unlikely his Anfield stay will be extended.
Several clubs have reportedly been circling the left back, with the Mirror now suggesting Unai Emery could swoop for his former star.

Moreno played under Emery during his time at Sevilla, winning the Europa League in 2014 before sealing his £12million move to Merseyside.
It claims the Gunners boss is an admirer of the player and is seeking reinforcements in that position.
Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been touted as possible destinations as uncertainty grows over Moreno's future.

Moreno would not be able to speak to Arsenal - or any Premier League side - until his contract expires, but he would be able to agree a pre-contract away from Liverpool with an overseas club from January.

What the feckitty feck is he doing with his hands??? That's the kind of gesture magicians do when guiding a silvery orb across the stage. What a poseur!

The illusionist! We all had illusions that he was a football player at one point. Illusions became delusions.
