Yeah blah blah blah, for the main part (see link if you want it).

I only bring this up for two things:

LOOK AT HIS HAIR !

My Anfield injury: The truth

In the spirit of truth and justice that has enveloped Liverpool and Manchester United in recent days, Alan Smith insists no-one rocked his ambulance at Anfield as it tried to take him to hospital in 2006.
'Everyone at Liverpool did as much for me as any club possibly could,' said Smith. 'I was disappointed the story blew up about rocking an ambulance. That was never the case. Liverpool and Man United did everything to get me to the hospital and everything in their power to make sure I was OK.
'I thank them for that. Sometimes it's nice to say that because people have read that they were rocking my ambulance and throwing stuff at it, which is so untrue.'

Well done Alan on eventually snapping into action and correcting the story all these years later. And you look like someone from Duran Duran.

Why not speak out before to quash these smelly stories then.... oh he was managed by Ferguson quelle surprise

That is a strange one.... i grant u far too many people celebrated him snapping his leg but for years he has allowed people to think that his ambulance was attacked. Weird.

Not really related, I remember I was in Leeds when they got relegated from the premier league, he was crying and was carried round the ground by the fans after the match finished

A few weeks later he moved to the scum.

From hero to villian in an instance

It did not happen. I know all the medics in the vehicle, and 2 of them are bluenoses who would have loved to tell of the rocking and worse.
One of them got Smiths' boots as a gift.

A spokeswoman for Mersey Regional Ambulance Service said: "We were offering treatment to an injured player during the Liverpool/ Manchester United game.

"While transporting the patient to hospital, ambulance crews experienced a degree of hostility.

"We would like to stress this did not result in the patient being delayed during his transfer to hospital.

"The ambulance crew were uninjured and no damage was caused to the vehicle."

Cool

I'll believe my brother who's a paramedic rather than a random quote from a random person on a random football website

You're like a dog with a bone aren't you?

I can see why people call you a WUM

Not really admitting anything. It's not that important to argue over. 5 posts on the matter is 'a dog with a bone' and again, why am I a WUM when all I do is put my observations and points across? That poster in the other thread was right, people saying that because they don't want to hear it.

K

I trust the person who said the opposite of what you claim.

That's all. Don't start the woe is me stuff.

That was an FA Cup game wasn't it? Crouch scored the winner, we won 1-0? Seems like yesterday.
