Says he wants to move to England some day, and that he's a Liverpool fan.

If Can leaves, we need to get this done.

Rabiot + Keita would be an amazing midfield.

I'm a big fan of his mum, Miss Rabiot, she has lots & lots of jobs, if he has his mum's work ethic he'll be sound.
She certainly deserved that award she got from the queen.

Although it was very irresponsible of her to take that family up in the hot air balloon, it was her first time flying one.

Adrien Rabiot has revealed that he harbours ambitions of playing in the Premier League one day and admits he was a huge admirer of Liverpool when he grew up.

Arsenal have been long-term admirers of the young France midfielder, who has impressed hugely for Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain so far this season.

Rabiot has played in every Ligue 1 game and Champions League fixture this term for the Parisians, scoring once and creating two assists.

And speaking while on international duty with France, Rabiot claims that he could leave France to ply his trade elsewhere one day, with Liverpool a possible destination.

'I think I would like to experience something else [outside Ligue 1], said the 22-year-old PSG star.

'There are a lot of very good championships, it's also very rewarding to go elsewhere.

E-mailed an ex-colleague of mine, now retired, who spends a lot of time in France at a farmhouse he and his wife are doing up. He's a football fan (allegedly anyway - supports Middlesborough) so I asked him if he's seen anything of this guy. His reply: "Enough to consider him overrated. Not saying he's a poor player or anything, but I'd take some convincing that he'd be a consistent starter for a top four Prem side".

So at some indeterminate point in the future Rabiot may wish to come to the Premier League, perhaps to Liverpool, but probably not. In the meanwhile though, he'll stay at mega rich PSG where he is starting every game.

Our midfield woes are solved!

His contract expires in 2019, and he's dithering on a new deal.

It's not often good players publicly name Liverpool as a preferred destination. Aguero, Dele Alli, Dani Alves are some notable ones who we had the opportunity to sign, but didn't.

Come next summer, Can will probably have left, and we'll have Rabiot with just a year left on his PSG deal.

If that isn't an opportunity to take advantage of, I don't know what is.

We will obviously try and sign Fabian Delph from City instead though.

I'm not saying we shouldn't try just that it seems unlikely.
