From my son's visit to Liverpool for a Conference yesterday:
Liverpool FC official club store just now, wanted to buy almost everything.
Then proceeded to stumble upon Cafe Sports Express (that's Carra's shop!). Was told that the tables were full, unknown waiting time, and currently understaffed. However, they managed to find us a tablr, and while waiting, some other diners proceeded to greet me as fellow fans and give me a quick tour plus discuss a bit of history. I'm getting my bowl of Scouse finally!
Besides being the city of the club I support, the hospitality, friendliness, and helpfulness of the people here, and the cleanliness of the city itself, plus the waterside city feeling that reminds me of home (with fresh seafood!), have made a very good impression on me.
I thought Cardiff was nice. I think Liverpool has edged it. (Liverpool has Red Hot World Buffet too so that bit of Cardiff's plus is matched)/QUOTE]
