Lads, inspired by some recent insults and pisstakes, I thought a fun thread would be to post stories, or experiences that your friends might have had, and well, you might not think to share.
Here's one I got from a Footy supporting friend in Atlanta today (He supports the new MLS club and is a season ticket holder).
"Kenwyn Jones, Atlanta United and Trinidad & Tobago striker (and formerly of Stoke City and Sunderland) called me today to wish me a Merry Christmas and to thank me for supporting the club. How cool is that?!. I'm dead serious. I couldn't answer the phone because I was in a meeting. I have the voice mail proof however."
He's a long way from signing from Liverpool is Kenwyn!
PS: Gene don't tell me you know him too..
