Little help from JJ, Portly, Vlad etc please.

Peter Thompson, Alec Lindsay, Ray Clemence, Tommy Lawrence, Chris Lawler, ??????
Alun Evans, ??????, Larry Lloyd, John Toshack, Steve Heighway, Phil Boersma, Brian Hall
??????, Emlyn Hughes, Ron Yeats, Shanks, Tommy Smith, Ian Callaghan, Sir Bob

I think that's Bobby Graham front row, left. Maybe John McLaughlin behind him next to Evans.

I was thinking Peter Cormack beside Alun Evans but I am not sure if it fits with the age of the photo

No, I'd know Cormack, I'm sure it's not him. It's just pre-Keegan so Cormack came a bit later. No idea about the lad at the back on the right except he looks very Glaswegian.

Got this from liverpoolsite.com -

Jaysus, good work Macca, I'd never have got McLaughlin and I don't even remember us having a Bobby Graham! Mind you I was about 7 when this photo was taken.

Bobby Graham was top scorer in the 69-70 season with 13 goals. We only scored 65 goals in 54 games that season and 10 of them came in one match! While things aren't good presently, they weren't always better in the past and the next season was even worse! Unfortunately for Bobby Graham he got injured early that next season and never really recovered. Once Keegan arrived he was moved on to Coventry.

John McLaughlin, meanwhile, left to study the guitar, eventually forming The Mahavishnu Orchestra. He now holds the record for the longest ever guitar solo, having started it in 1979.

Graham's injury was horrific. He broke his ankle and I swear the crack was audible on the soundtrack on MOTD. It's a tribute to how tough he was that he actually came back as quickly as he did, but you're right, as a player he was never the same again.
