I imagine he will take it with his usual good grace. I wonder who he will refuse to speak to as a result? Is there anyone left who he does still speak to??

It's bullshit.

He can still be in the dressing room before the game and at half-time.

Its like Rafas ban when he was on the phone to Xavi Valero all the time, it makes a joke of the disciplinary actions!

So this is for chronic avoidance of BBC post-match reporters?

The the punishment comes from the Big British Castle it will put all other forms of punishment in the shade.

Think Pulp Fiction and the Gimp, that's what he'll be getting when the time is right.

thanks, yeah I didn't read the article and thought it was curiously lenient for 7 years of ditching the media. Can't wait to see what the BBC dishes out!

Its a fucking joke. He is not banned from anything than actually sit in a specific seat in a 76000 seating stadium. All other things he is free to. Is that a ban? It is a fucking joke!

Am I not right in thinking he has an FA official sat with him to make sure he cannot make contact with the bench via mobile or smoke signals or pigeon post whatever? If it's going Pete Tong, then he has to sit and suffer.

The punishment isnt significacnt but hopefully it does signal an end to the days of that bullying drunkard throwing his weight around.

Or at least a little less throewing

He'll appeal and get a reduced ban.

Apparently it's a 3 match ban with the addition of a previously suspended 2 match ban... Not sure how much he can appeal that!

"The Times" today says he can, but runs the risk of an extra match being added to the ban if the appeal is dismissed.

Ban the cunt from drinking during those five games, that'll give the sour old twat something to really moan about.
