I'm with Misred, there are some fucking weird men out there too.
The weirdest, scariest guy i have ever come across is my best friend at school's step-dad. When i think back it's so obvious that he was abusing her which is just awful and i don't know why i didn't realise at the time. He was really creepy and over-familiar. He used to let her smoke in the car to and from school. Or he'd do things like offer to write us sick notes so that we could skive off for the day and he'd take us shopping. He bought her porn magazines for women (we were about 15)! He also hired a private detective to follow her around. There was an incident once when me and her had (somewhat innocently) pondered buying some weed in a telephone conversation. It was during the school holidays. I got home the next day to find the police at my house searching my room. They'd had an anonymous tip off that i was dealing grass. It had to be him. There was also another time when he was driving me home one night, he parked the car up off the road under a bridge and said that he knew what we got up to when we went out and said that he was going to tell my parents. It was one of the most scariest experiences of my life. My friend was totally fucked up, massively promiscous and incredibly self-destructive. I used to find myself in situations that i just couldn't believe i was in because she'd go off with total strangers and i'd have to go along as I couldn't leave her. Needless to say when we finished school i was quite relieved that we went out seperate ways as she was just completely off the rails. But i do find myself thinking about her and wishing that i'd done something back then.
