Honestly we need before extra outgoings than Ox and Keita:
A CB (assuming the rumours we will sell matip and that we need new blood)
A backup RB and send Ramsay on loan/give him a year of inhalers
Two CMs (three if we sell eg Fabinho)
RW competition (x2 if we sell eg Salah)
Another backup keeper if Kelleher leaves
Wouldn't be surprised if either Robbo or Tsimikas left either

5 would bring more to the table than those 9.
Would be nice to have some other options to take corners.
He will have learnt nothing from this season if he doesn't do a [ruthless] clear out.

create a list of players you'd have (outgoings and incomings) making sure we don't exceed 17 non home grown players over 21 and on a budget of £250m... I bet we'd struggle to get 20 players registered?
To be frank, it is hard to believe we can't find anyone better / cheaper than Gomez in the whole of Europe. Just adequately replacing him alone will make the squad stronger, nevermind a midfielder.
Klopp needs to know who he cannot rely on, and the first half of the season has brought up plenty of culprits for him to think about.

It's just that Gomez has been terrible for a long time, even when he have had limited game time. I am just not sure why we are persisting with a 4th choice CB who has played much worse than Lovren have.
Just google "Joe Gomez mistakes" and you will have plenty to read!
There's about 4 CB's available on a free who'd be better.

If you look beyond the usual suspects, absolutely yes.
You can't get all the players you want for £250 as crazy as it sounds
Barella doesn't go for 70 plus lol, don't be disillusioned just because a few teams above us pay that for any player that becomes their value.
