Any players from the relegated teams that would improve or strengthen our squad?

Norwich: No one.

Aston Villa:
Jordan Amavi, their young left back. Has been out injured since November but a pretty decent defender from what I've seen and possibly good competition for Moreno.

Newcastle:
Jamaal Lascelles, young central defender. Benitez seems to like him. Not that great at distributing the ball but he looks to be a defender in the Rio Ferdinand mould. Only started playing regularly for Newcastle since Mars. Has impressed me the few times I've seen him play.

Rolando AArons, 20 year old winger. Hasn't featured that much for Newcastle because of injuries but he looked very impressive last season. Bit of a gamble really.

To be fair all three are a bit of a gamble.

9 goals 5 assists in the league. Not bad for a midfielder in his first season in the Premier League. Especially at a relegated club.

That is really good to be fair, even better than some of our starters.

Yeah Amavi was looking good until he got injured. My Villa supporting mate was a big fan.

Anyway. In answer to the question, in years gone by I would have said Redmond, Wijnaldum and maybe Krul. But in reality thats the kind of shit we have been doing for years and it doesnt work.
I dont think any are top top class. So why bother signing them.

Lets sign BRILLIANT players only.

I think there could eventually be a brilliant defender in Jores Okore from Villa, still very young and raw, but from my knowledge a lot of Villains thought of him as their best player for stretches this Season until he became out of favor and degraded to the reserves. Strong, like an ox, quite fast, skilled and calm on the ball.

As a squad-player/back-up for a fee in the region of £5-6M would be a great bit of business.

*To even suggest Agbonlahor is pure madness, so unless Dreamy is actually mad, that must've been a joke. Right?

I'd definitely take Rolando Aarons, good player in a similar mound to Raheem

I think Wijnaldum is actually a really good player. I wanted us to buy him 2 seasons ago, but he was coming off a long-term injury then.

Where's he from?

😉

Isn't that obvious, I mean with that name and all?

PS I have watched this lad play since he was 17-18-years-old so I actual know what I am talking 'bout. He's got all the right tools. And we might have the right carpenter to guide and develop him in Klopp.*

*Metaphorically speaking, he's not actually going to build our new stadium or anything.

I like Wijnaldum. He scores goals from midfield, has a good engine and breaks forward well. I think he'd do better in a better team too.

Yeah Wijnaldum would provide a smart buy and Aaron's looked very exciting on the few times I've seen him.

I would take both for the right price.

I know a Newcastle fan who gets to a number of their home games each season and reckons Wijnaldum's form has dropped like a stone recently, though he was good for much of the season even when those around him weren't. I like him as a player, but I'd need to be satisfied that his form wouldn't desert him if the going got tough.

Micah Richards, Jack Grealish for the squad in place of Ilori/Texeria?

Think I've been playing too much football manager...
