Midweek Games

Do we want to go out in this round?

Ideally they lose tonight by 2 goals and have to make a big physical effort in the 2nd leg, leading to a loss in the league. But I reckon they'll come back and win this game still. Or not lose it. Schalke are crap.

SchezeNey with a fucking worldie save in the other game

VAR disallows a goal for Madrid

Soft, but I can see why

It's annoying. They're going far in all these competitions without having to play anyone decent.

They're basically able to rest players.

Swansea in the FA cup will be a piece of piss. And the Schalke second leg, they'll field a second string team too. They were awful.

Two goals the last 5 to turn the tie, with ten men.
Strong stuff, even if it was Otamendi who was sent off...

Just great to see them getting rattled again - surely they will have another blip in the PL

It's annoying, but City are very, very good. They got 2 penalties and a sending-off and still won away. Hope they get a much stronger opponent in the quarters.

Rattled? Blips?

Fucking hell, do we never learn.

This is almost as embarrassing as Letallec and a few others saying that City were "vulnerable" and "struggling" during a period when they'd scored 30 goals and won 8 games on the bounce, before going on to score 11 goals in three games as they spanked Arsenal, Everton and Chelsea in the space of a week.

Stop.

Ha! Searching for hope in the pit of a despair of a free scoring team - but it is encouraging to see them going down and getting players sent off.

Doesn’t look like rhere will be any weak side left after this round.

Real, PSG, Spurs or Roma please
