The best young winger in the Bundesliga at the moment. Can we please sign him?

Plays LW, RW and would be the perfect guy to challenge both Mane and Salah from the bench.

I'd pay 60 million plus for him happily.

Yep, one of the most impressive young wingers in Germany since Dembele and Sane left. He is quickly becoming the undisputed star of this Bayer team. Not sure about 60M, but definitely should be on the radar.

Yes please

Based on potential and current form, 60. Is fair.

It's just converting form to class over the next few years that's key

He's one of those where people might balk at a huge price given this is his breakthrough season. Will he replicate this year after year?

Question is, is it a risk we can afford to miss?

If he continues the current form, or improves, he's at Barca/real in 2 years for 100m, and we're probably losing Salah to the other one.

Kid is the real deal. 11 goals this year already.

Did you see that backheel goal? Fuck me, that was seriously special.

He's easily at the level Sane and Dembele were a year ago. Given how those two have developed, I wouldn't really be considering Bailey a risk (unless he suffers an injury).

If we're talking about wingers what are your opinion on Gelson Martins and Pione Sisto?

Can only comment on Sisto out of the two.

To become a real target for us I believe he's got to add more goals to his game, everything else seems in order - take-on's, assists, pace and dribbles are all top bracket he just needs to be more present on the score-sheet.

He did score more frequently in the past so could be a case of getting a few goals added to his name and take it from there.

Needless to say he's not better than what we have already got in Mane and Salah but he is developing nicely so maybe in a few years time.

I have nothing but Youtube clips, and stats to go by, but neither paint a very good picture for these two.

Sisto is 23. This should really be the start of his peak statistical years, but his scoring rate is very poor. 11 goals over the last 2 years. Bear in mind that La Liga is the easiest of the big leagues to score in. Absolute chumps like Aspas and Carlos Vela have scored there prolifcally. If Pisto can't score in Spain, he's unlikely to ever do so in England. I'll pass on him pretty easily.

Gelson Martins is more intriguing. His pace looks frightening, and he seems to have some skill as well. Yet the Portuguese league is a place to avoid buying from in general. Looking at his clips, there's an Aaron Lennon vibe you get immediately. No guile to complement his pace and skill. Very one-dimensional, lots of kicking and running into blind alleys, wild shots and crosses. I'd pass on him too.

Bailey looks like a cracking player. Shame we didnt buy him from Genk for the 12 mill Leverkusen paid....

We should just have some scouts attend every Genk game. Just look at the players they've sold:

Courtois, Koulibaly, Yannick Carrasco, Milinkovic-Savic, Ndidi, Bailey, De Bruyne. And Origi and Benteke.

Of course we'd end up with the 2 useless cunts out of that lot.

Look I am obv not going to disagree as I just said more or less the same above, he does lack goals to be considered right now, but he's not a striker if that's what you are thinking? You could perhaps add to your youtube clips info instead, that only Messi has managed to create more goals in La Liga this season than Sisto.

I know assist stats can be a bit flawed, but I guess at least that's something (especially as it's Aspas that's mostly the one to convert the chances he creates).

He's just turned 23 and at about that time in their careers I believe both of Salah and Mane were in Switzerland and Austria respectively (and both on the brink of igniting their careers) so there's still time for this one, and if he should suddenly find his scoring boots (let's say during the world cup come Summer) he'd become very sought after - as he's already proven he can create goals too.
