16 wins from 16 from games v teams outside the top 5.

    13 clean sheets.

And a 7-point lead at the top.

It all counts for nothing if we stumble near the finishing line. We have a history of bottling it

Hopefully by the time we do drop points it won’t matter.

9 times. Salah has broken the deadlock 9 times this season in the prem. He currently has 14 goals.

This was Liverpool's 50th clean sheet in the Premier League under Jurgen Klopp in their 128th match with the German in charge since his first in October 2015; 42% of those have come since Virgil van Dijk's league debut in January 2018 (21 in 37 games since).

Someone should lock this thread up with these posters in it as well, never to come out until after the season finishes.

No, we have had a history of frequently dropping points against teams in the bottom half of the table. That’s what really derailed us in 2013/14, and not the slip up against the chavs at Anfield as is popularly claimed. This season we seem to be winning instead of losing or drawing those matches.

    • Of the last 10 Premier League penalties taken by left-footed players, six have failed to score - the other four have all been scored by Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.

Won't be long now until we have a "predict our points total from the next five games" thread
