PSG has started well under Galtier; Neymar looks like a man reborn. On the other hand, Mbappe did this today – was so upset he didn't get a pass early in the attack that he completely took himself out of the play:

That's weird stuff. Probably would have had a good chance to get on the end of that shot as well.

Just thought we can have a thread for non-English football discussions. PSG has started well under Galtier; Neymar looks like a man reborn. On the other hand, Mbappe did this today – was so upset he didn't get a pass early in the attack that he completely took himself out of the play:

Mbappe, has every right to feel like that he is the unofficial owner of the club isn't he ?

Who could have foreseen that giving one player carte-blanche over decisions within the club would lead to that player’s ego getting out of control and immediately provoke conflict with teammates?

PS: since no one posted about any other European games over the weekend, I changed the title of this thread to focus only on PSG.

What happened with the penalties?

Mbappe missed the first pen.

Then when PSG got awarded another penalty later on in the game, Neymar was quick to grab the ball and take the pen - which he scored.

Mbappe was very salty about Neymar taking the pen and as the team were celebrating the scored penalty by the corner flag - Mbappe was one of the last to make it over, slowly walking across to them.

He really is becoming a massive prick - used to like him, but really starting to despise the guy.

Yup. Prick prick prick. Can't see anyone stumping up the cash for such a prima donna now -- maybe Barcelona -- so he can luxuriate in Ligue 1 for the rest of his career.

In Madrid he would have been one of many stars, not a local royalty, and Benzema could mentor/correct his ways.
he fucked up this one

thanks for explaining, if Mbappe is the designated penalty taker (also the captain?) should Neymar be doing that?

PSG sounds like a breeding ground for pricks, I’m glad it doesn’t really work

Utd PSG Barca

Each have their own unique reason to be labelled the laughing stocks of European football.

Clearly just pulls up to injury there, nothing to see like. :geek:

He should've moved to Real and focused on football. The moon on the stick approach PSG has taken to keeping him is madness and made everyone involved mad too.

He'll still go to Real in 2 years. Just wonder whether his star will start to stagnate and fade or if he'll be able to continue his progression in the meantime.

Yeah, as explained in the video I posted Neymar was in the wrong here, at least where the rules set by Galtier are concerned. But you could understand his actions since he’s a better penalty taker and Mbappe missed the first one.
