3 at the back makes sense
 
If memory serves, Southgate played with three at the back at Middlesbrough and during Euro 96, both times were with two strikers and three central midfielders. I highly doubt he has the tactical understanding or confidence to be able to deviate from that set up.
 
The fact he converted Walker to a right sided centre back out of nowhere speaks volumes, the fuck did that come from? I'll tell you, he's just copying what Venables did with Neville and praying it works to the same effect. The guy is a plagiarist basically, he has no idea how to do anything other than what he's been taught/stolen from others.

Yeah they've been beefing for quite some time.
Bellerin and Alonso dropped seems weird though, I take it their manager doesn't rate the Premier league

A real shame that.
The biggest problem last time out was Kane wanting to do everything. Free kicks, corners every fucking thing and as captain no one could say no.
