Never really felt what I'm feeling for this world cup - honestly, I am not that bothered, not aware of when the games are etc ...

Anyone else going through this?  I just want our season to start ... so looking forward to it - this optimism that we're close again, that the team is ready to push onto that next level ...

    Bring on preseason training!

    Not arsed.

Even less arsed than usual, because of the Real Madrid loss. Nothing that happens at the World Cup can come close to making up for that load of shite.
The only thing that will cheer me up is a shitload of amazing signings, including a new goalkeeper and striker.

Signing Randall the Time Bandit from Stoke isn't going to help, and the collapse of the Fekir deal is not good either.

So yeah, I'm with Letall; roll on next season.

I love it. I just hope the new baby (whenever the fuck it decides to show up) doesn't ruin it for me. Kids are so inconsiderate.

I was thinking about crying during matches, and nappy changes in penalty shootout situations and what else a newborn brings. I can't remember.

    Cheers boss.

I'll have to just connect my headphones to the tv and ignore any crying.

I was just afraid that it would arrive then as it seems to be quite big and the wife has been telling me for ages "I think I could give birth at any time".

I know, I wish life was like football manager sometimes, so that we can just advance to next season.

I quite liked the USA WC when some of the matches were on late at night. There was just a nice vibe about it. I think these games are on in the afternoons and evenings, and I'll just be too busy. You can't really dip into a World Cup, you need to sit down and get up a month later.

Nope. Couldn't care less about the world cup. Not even looking forward to next season right now. The less football over the next 6 weeks the better. Real Madrid still weighing heavily.

I'm in the same boat. Due date is 24th and I'll bet that whatever day she (we're having another girl) turns up I'll end up missing the best game of the tournament.

It's the World Cup! Come on.

Sunny weather, shots of hot exotic women wearing ill fitting football shirts, fancy Brazilian football skills and English tears.
