I know we all desperately want to, and believe it's possible. But the reality is if we can finish with more points than Man City it would be an incredible achievement. Up there with our finest ever.
So the poll is a cold yes/no.
Will we win the fucking thing?

We win 37 more times.. No fucker can stop us. Not even Citeh.

On a serious note. We can.. We just need some teams to put up a fight vs City.

No - but we we've spent as much as the rest now so we will be better than fourth or at least should be.

2nd and another CL final, maybe a win, and also at least one of the domestics. City the team to overcome in all 4 competitions though.

Fast forward to January 2019, we're 20 points behind City and 17 behind Man U.

Despite all that, yeah I think we'll win.

Let's face it, unless we can be head and shoulders above competition like how City were last season, it will need a huge element of luck. We will need the luck, as I can't see us being that far ahead of competition. If three out of below four happens, then we should be in with a shout.

  1. Fabinho comfortably owning a midfield slot. It will mean that 3 out 4 players we brought in will have strengthened our starting eleven.
  2. Sturridge remaining fit for the season. It will mean that we will have options for the three attacking spots for the whole season.
  3. A bit of luck in the second half of the season with injuries and results.
  4. We strengthen again in January a weak spot in the first team that we find in the first half.

I think we need the other teams to falter as well.

If City are basically going to repeat last season, I don't think anyone is capable of keeping up yet.

If can half the points difference between us and city, we will have had a good season.
We're on the same amount of points.

There is literally no difference to cut in half.

I'm not suggesting for a second that City will suddenly slump & end up finishing outside the top 4, that'd be daft, but I think it's equally daft to do what almost everyone else is & assume that they'll repeat last season & get a hundred points again.

Nah.. Not a chance...

City will win it again at a canter.. The quality of the PL outside the top 5/6 is so much poorer in comparison, City will pick the teams off easily..

I expect us to finish second accumulating a record number of points that in any other season would have us winning it.

I don't think they will, but they have to fall far. They'll drop a couple more points this season, of that I'm sure, but will it be enough?

Our next fucking game is next Monday....what the fuck...i could be dead by then. Which f*cker did the schedule.

I am so buzzing after yesterdays game.. oh the movement and pace and the new Keita engine from midfield ... fucking great !!!!

Sorry..yes we can but our depth is still short IMO. So if the new engine gets injured then we may struggle to break down teams. Also for the first time in like 20 years I feel we can go to Chelsea and beat the fuck out of them...always worry about the midfield but new Keita engine will rev right through those cunts.
