Since their defeat they seem to playing in top gear, have they enough power in the boot to continue at such a pace?

[article=http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24101085]Arsenal's growing injury list
Santi Cazorla - ankle
Yaya Sanogo - back
Tomas Rosicky - hamstring
Lukas Podolski - hamstring
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - knee
Mikel Arteta - thigh
Abou Diaby - knee[/article]

2 sides of the coin? The list is either going to grow (lack of rotation/rest for exisitng squad) or they will cope with it for now and welcome these players back into the fold as the fixtures congestion sets in.

Another thread about Arsenal? Really?

This forum's always had some really pervy closet Gooners on it. Personally I wish a great big hole would open up and all those twats with their Vicks blobs on their shirts and their tippy-tappy tosh and their deaf dumb and blind manager and their 'sign on/hoof' chanting fans would plummet down into the depths of hell and never be seen again.

Ha.... well it makes a change from discussing how brilliant United are, which many appear to have a liking for. Is it just me who finds that whole attitude bizarre from our own fans? "I'm detached from the club because I don't come from the City, so I can praise United, because I have some perspective". People seem to confuse being biased with full blooded, life ingrained hatred and rivalry.

We hate them with reason, I wouldn't give them a push off the side. And let's face it, if you can't hate other clubs irrefutably and without conscience, what's the point?

Not even a veiled attempt at saying OTTers can't support Liverpool, Mark.

That's not what I'm saying, but the handful of posters who like to champion United are. And that seems to be the stance. The majority of OOT'ners on here know their shit. LIke the majority of scousers do, and again, there's always a minority there who are brainless.

I watched them yesterday vs a poor sunderland side and they didn't look exactly fantastic so I don't they're necessarily playing in top gear

What's a woolyback ?

Someone who comes from across the other side of the Mersey. Usually means those from especially the Wirral but also Cheshire, N.Wales etc. and of course has more than a passing reference to sheep !
I'm a woollyback too however my home was probably a fair bit closer to Anfield (in a straight line) than half the 'true' Liverpudlians on here (looking from Eastham Ferry across the Mersey) !

Someone not from Liverpool but usually claims to be.. Like being from Surrey and claiming to be Londoner..

That clears it up! Thanks for the answers

Excellent midfield - especially with Marty Feldman's love child in there - but that defence just isn't good enough to win things IMHO.

They are going to be too reliant on Giroud.. but excellent midfield with so many creators now in Ozil, Walcott & Cazorla with Ramsey looking to be finding form too.

That is not correct. See #16 above.

Close.. Basically those from the surrounding areas, although originally aimed solely at the Wirral. My auntie lives on the Wirral so i've grown up with an uncle telling her she is now a wool. I'm saying a someone claiming to be a londoner is a 'wool', just an example of someone not from somewhere claiming they are from there.. Not that it matters. We all bleed red :)
