Damn that's a good result. Well in Stevie. He's made a pretty good start because I thought they were miles behind Celtic and would get stuffed quick time in Europe.

PAOK 0-1 Chelsea FT
Arsenal 1-0 Vorskal 32 mins

An interesting one :
Red Bull Leipzig 0-2 Red Bull Salzburg 37 mins

In Rangers' group Rapid Wien beat Dynamo Moscow 2-0.

Imagine if he went onto win the damn thing - now that would be great !!!

Stevie G's surprised me with the way he's taken to it, first with our U-18s and now on a bigger stage. By contrast with his incredible ability as a player I didn't much rate him as a skipper, which made me doubt whether he was cut out for coaching/management, but he's knuckled down and is paying his dues. Good on him.

Ha ha, one of the largest fan bases world wide would probably disagree with that statement.

Isn't that one of those urban myths that you can neither prove nor disprove?

I travel extensively and rarely see their distinctive colours, it's usually ours/Mancs/Barca/Madrid.

I would say Celtic do have a big fan base. I'm not sure they would have one of the largest in the world, though. If you're an Irish Celtic fan and you travel around the world meeting other Irish blokes you'll probably think there's Celtic fans everywhere, when it's just Irish people who are everywhere.

Especially when, for the majority of Irish travellers, the first item on the to do list when arriving at a new destination is to find the local Irish pub. A behaviour I have never understood, but each to their own ...

Because Irish pubs and people are often a lot of fun and every city has at least one?

When you're in a foreign place, it's usually nice to try some foreign stuff...

Indeed. I didn’t go near an Irish pub in Australia for the first year.

Doesn’t take away from the fact they are generally a great night out in any country.

I think what happens is there are maybe 100,000 pikeys worldwide who support Celtic.

They keep getting moved from place to place by the police so everytime you go to a new place they seem to have loads of Celtic.

But its the same inbred, gummy, ginger fuckwits you saw in the town you just left.

I reckon Grimsby or Scunthorpe has as many fans.
