Summer transfer links

Quite a few people mentioning we need a CF, who are those CF that would fit into our system? On another note, what do people think of Alireza Jahanbakhsh? Top scorer in the Dutch league with 21 goals and 12 assists. He is only 24.

I’m not sure I’d be happy with Malcolm Allison in the team.

He’s been dead for nearly 8 years.

Linked with Steven Bergwijn in the Dutch media. According to them we've had scouts at nearly every game last season.

Without knowing how to say it, and if it's pronounced how I imagine, if his song isn't red red wine then what's the point

Is this thread for all links? Anyways both of the largest Barcelona and Madrid sport papers seems very stubborn with regards to their respective clubs preparing a swoop for Christian Eriksen come Summer.

Spurs is facing a massive uphill task really to keep on to their best players before next Season as I see it, and if one leaves, that could pave way for the others and needless to say we'd be a competitor short compared to last season as there is no way they are going to replace two or three of their key players just like that (Kane, Alli, Eriksen).

I really really hope they get Erisken - he's the engine of that team. He goes, that team will struggle.

Anyone think Chelsea might be dead ducks in the transfer market this year due to the Abramovich situation? Can't see him signing off on multi-million contracts when his political situation within the British state seems to be on a rather insecure footing.

Could be, they're also appaz looking at Laurent Blanc as their new manager.

I dunno

I think now is the most dangerous time to pump the breaks. Stadium falling apart, not particularly glamorous managers linked, owner in weird situation, hazard linked away

I reckon they'll spend a fuck ton just to save face

Yeah, but they need the billionaire crook to OK it. He's just put the kibosh on the stadium because of his insecure situation. Why would he pump hundreds of millions into the club when he may well be forced to sell in the near future- and he'll already be making a colossal loss on his investments?

There's also no way Spurs would sell 2 or 3 of their top/key players .. just like that ;)

I read a long piece the other day re. the stadium situation (on BBC or Sky, I forget which). Basically it makes no financial sense whatsoever to go ahead with it. Originally was it £600m ? Now £1B and by the time it'd actually be finished that could be anywhere from £1.2 - 1.5 billion. Crazy. And that's the real reason why the Russian crook is pulling the plug on it. They could have Wembley for half that figure or a tad more.

They won't like it of course but the players could force a move themselves if they feel the Premiership trophy becomes even less likely. Sell one of them and the rest could follow, that must be the headache they are facing right now.

I think Spurs have already tied down most of their top players to long contracts. No chance Levy would let more than one go. I think Eriksen and Dembele are the most likely to be honest.
