Looking forward to the world cup, its felt like years since we have had one.

Im thinking France look like the real deal this year.

I wonder if anyone can pull off a Portugal and win it without being very good. Not England obviously.....we have Gareth Southhgate as our manager ffs.

I fucking love the world cup. It's my jam.

Hard to see past France as a decent outside chance.

I also think Brazil will once again flatter to deceive.

Think it's the Germans again though myself

If Southgate doesn't shit himself under media pressure and cave over selections, England could do well.

Southgate has been positive in my eyes - progressive and ignores the 'popular' players. If the squad taken has the right level of players who are in form then I think England could have a very good tournament. A number of key players are in great form Kane, Sterling, Ox, Alli (coming in to form), Lingard, Hendo.

This main talking point on this world cup will not be the football.
It'll be how many Engurrland fans have been beaten up, how many people Putin has ordered to be killed etc

    Interesting you should say that.
    Saw this the other day:

Most of the tickets have been allocated to Russian fans (197,036), followed by fans from USA (14,845), Argentina (14,564), Colombia (13,994), Mexico (13,505), Brazil (9,691), Peru (9,493), Australia (5,500), Germany (5,476), China (5,459) and India (4,166) – the top ten countries from abroad.

I cant ever remember a world cup where England fans just look to be thinking fuck that.
Our fucking Doncaster Barrys who will happily go and turn over tables in Faro or wherever are well aware they will just get straight up fucking state sponsor KILLED in Russia.

We wont be well represented at all.

China and India aren't even in the world cup, why are they even getting tickets.  Not being represented at the world cup might even help the team play some football out there.

Nobody has posted the bear yet? Apparently theyve trained a bear to hand the referee a ball for the opening game and theyre currently doing practice runs...
