Apart from the goal did anyone else think Sterling was utter shite? Still can't believe we got £49m for him. Mugs

He was caught on the follow through - not a yellow, or probably a foul, but he did get caught and Aguero went down.
That's what most players do nowadays - unless they have a sight of goal ... contact? DOWN we go!

Going down gets the player a foul call. Choosing not to go down gets the player a mention post match on whether he should have gone down.

And they wonder why players always simulate.

Koeman is doing a good job. Everton won't be pushovers this season.

Yup - he's built a really solid team, as he did with Soton, and they're going to be one of the top teams defensively this year (they played with 3 DMs yesterday!).

I thought the same exact thing ... He manages to look so so good most of the time - but he really should have scored 2 (which is his big problem, terribly inconsistent finisher) & instead of shooting after skinning Keane late on, he crossed. Good player? Sure, I wish he could have worked under Klopp ... but 49 million? No fucking way.

I wasnt impressed with Everton last night. Spent a gazillion on fairly average attacking players but started very defensively. A lucky break gave them a 1-0 lead, but City battered them even with 10 men. City should have won that game bar some very poor decisions made by Aguero and the other City players. The red card was wrong as well, both red cards for that matter.

Everton look solid and have added some decent players, but they have no pace in attack. Zero. I find that very odd by Koeman.
Yesterdays game screamed out for some pace to stretch Citys defence and hit them on the break, but instead it was Klaasen and Sigurdsson. To quite similar players that offered very little to win the game for Everton.
Even though a draw away to City is always a great result, I'd be disappointed if I was an Everton fan after not winning that game.
1-0 up and City getting a player sent off. Confirmed their status as a poor away team and not good enough to get into the top 6.
