My cock is on 100% start to this season
I was on holiday when we played Watford. No cock 3-3 draw.
Home for Hoffenheim 1-2 win for the cock and today 1-0

Played 2 won 2.
Love my cock

you are so having triplets next year

That's also true. Would be great if we had the luxury of a inside the box kind of finisher who wouldn't be expected to run fast or far. Just score. Alas.
Chicharito could be a good option for us. This guy seems to know where the ball is going to fall, and knows how to tap it in.

My observations - with all the transfer gloom around the club and missing the creativity and energy of Lallana and Coutinho, we haven't done bad so far, it's just a shame that flukey equaliser went in in the 93rd minute last week otherwise the mood would be different.

We have to grind out some results in our situation at the moment and there were some really encouraging aspects of Saturday's game including Klopp's new-found policy of rotating players and the talent shown by the younger lads. So far so good for Gomez, TAA & Solanke who have stepped up and Robertson looks like a proper left back. Matip was a lot more aggressive but still loses too many aerial battles and Klavan showed composure on the ball and did his job except when he reminded us that he is not good enough when he was easily beaten on the touchline twice.

The midfield is just not balanced and is the weakest department without the missing players. We simply have to strengthen in this window. Up front we were not especially dangerous because we are so slow at moving the ball through the centre and have to rely on recycling the ball to the wings. When we are at our best is threading balls into space in front of the opposition but we are not seeing much of that at the moment.

Yeah right.... o_O

Bit weird seeing loads of empty seats on Saturday. Maybe coz people were on hols.

A thousand free then. Gaps up both sides of the new stand. I gave my season tix to my kids and had a single in the same stand, lower centenary, and they texted to say there was a space next to them.

Looked like general sale was available in the main stand

Our defence is improving, that's 5 of the last 6 Prem games with a clean sheet.

Dour game needing a bit more spark but winnings all that matters.

No defence is ever chance-free. We do need to keep improving, but we also need to recognise that - however slowly and painfully - we already have.
Palace came and sat back for a draw. No way would that performance say that we are slowly getting better. As soon as a team properly comes at us we look all over the place.

Before the Crystal Palace game:

No single performance is ever enough to judge from, but that's not what I'm saying. As Jexy's already pointed out, we've kept 5 clean sheets out of the last 6 in the Prem. This does NOT mean everything's hunky-dory at the back (of course it isn't) but it does show some progress is being made. Ignoring that is just as bad as pretending everything's rosy.

Anybody who has a go at Anfield more often than not
gets its arse whipped. Most teams come to Anfield looking for a draw but we often contrive to give them more than just that (especially, recently Crystal Palace.)

And, like a few others have mentioned, that De Boer looked a lot like Rodgers.
