So, rumours from Sky Sports as well as the red top rags that Chelsea want to bring Pochettino in when Conte inevitably goes. Anybody think there is anything in this? Might be interesting to speculate what this would mean in respect of the league if it happened. I certainly can't see Levy letting the purse strings go when the stadium costs have sky rocketed. Is it possible Poch has had his head turned, or that it could be turned?
 
This doesn't sound like something journalists would just make up, so there is probably something in this. A bold move if it happens; Abramovich might finally get the attack-minded manager he always wanted. Probably good for us too since Poch's decision could trigger the exit of some of Spurs' better players as well...
 
Nahhhhh this has got be random lies, maybe to push for more money, a Rafa style trick. Why on earth would he go to Chelski to wake up every morning to a horses head, have his team picked for him, and get the boot after 2yrs regardless? No chance.
 
Levy would want more of a fee than the £12 million that Watford quoted the blueshite for Silva.

They are not saying Pochettino is interested, only that Chelsea are. And I'd say it's true.

But he would need some time to get "his" players. He likes players that fight for the cause, and those are normally not the ones you can tempt With Money. And the fucking useless shitheads that are there at the moment is a disgrace for their salaries. 1 point against 2 newpromoted teams in the last 2 key matches? Fuck that bunch of cunts, which I quite accurate predicted to be far off a CL spot and a trophy a few weeks back. I still hope I am wrong, but I can't see that sorry bunch of Dicks doing anything in the weekend.

True regarding winning anything but that might change at Chelsea.

He won enough as a player to know what it takes.
 
I doubt there's a single player for Manure or Chelski who can be arsed with the FA Cup. They'll all want to be fit for their national sides. It's going to be played like a friendly.
 
That would be a big kick in the balls for Levy, losing his manager to Chelsea.
It sounds a bit far fetched but the Pocehettino comments from after the Leicester game was a bit «invest massively in the squad or I’m off».

He’s a grade A cunt so he’d fit well in with the rest of the rentboys.

I can't see this happening. He'd be despised by the Spurs fans and also be viewed with some suspicion by the Chelsea scum.
And have Chelsea ever hired a manager in the Abramovich era who has never won anything?

(Apart from Avram Grant).

I think the Chelsea supporters would welcome him with open arms. They might hate Spurs but they recognise a progressive manager when they see one. I don't think this will be like Rafa at Chelsea, where he was reviled. They'd be joyous about kicking Spurs in the nuts by stealing their beloved manager too.
 
I can see why Chelski might want him, but not why he'd want them. Maybe the Chelski of a few years ago, but now he'd be going there when they're almost as careful with the cash as Levy is. They're building a new stadium, they've got nightmareish legal battles with local residents, and they're looking to keep spending at a minimum just when Pochettino is demanding Spurs spend more.

Ranieri was linked with the Spurs job in some local Nantes newspaper a few weeks back.
An old Chelsea manager taking over Spurs, and Pochettino taking over Chelsea.

I'd like to see the look of some of the fans faces when they start signing "he's one of our own" to that one.
 
The big worry is that this would only escalate the chances of Kane/Ali going to United or Chelsea. The main thing keeping them at Spurs is the promise Pochettino has shown, if he goes then they've got no real reason to stay.

Of course it potentially takes one team out of the equation for us, but probably simultaneously strengthens another.

You'd have to think with Manure paying Sanchez half a million a game they'll stick with him before they twist for Kane.

Chelsea seem to be free spending as far as I can see

2017 - 232mill
2016 - 120mill
2015 - 81mill
2014 - 124mill

Granted they sell a fair bit now, but if Poch had 232mill to spend in a summer......
