If it was downing we would have took the ban and not fought it. We put football ability over fighting racism. Wasn't a good look

There is some serious WUMery goin on here. @Hestu, you realise it doesn't look well if you come into a new club and proceed to take a turd right in the middle of the floor? These issues have caused nothing but rancour in our little community, and if you can't find another topic to chat about, I for one think you should piss off.

Hestu is technically correct.

It amazes me years on people have not bothered to read the report and just trot out the Evra is a liar line / the FA are biased. Thats just uneducated bullshit.

Evra told the ref that Suarez used the n word. That was his only lie.

Suarez at the time told the referee he used the word 'negro' not the n word. Commoli, Kuyt and the referee all gave evidence of that conversation.

He was found guilty of racist abuse becausre he was racially abusing Evra. And because was stupid enough to confess to it. And then to try and change his story later on.

You have to conpletely ignore the evidence of the referee, Dirk Kuyt and Damien Commoli, as well as the TV footage to declare it was some FA conspiracy.

He got done because he's a fucking dope.

Haahhaaha you're just as good at inventing a false narrative as Evra was.

Well, since you're staying, pull up a pew and tell us all about yourself. How did you find yourself in our little island of bliss?

Stumbled on it. Nothing more than that. Work in Liverpool, but I commute from outskirts. Not been to a match for a few years.

Seriously, isn't their CB quartet with Bailly, Lindelöf, Smalling and Jones good enough?

I think that a decent manager could create a solid back line with that.

Lindelof is shite apparently, I haven't watched much of him. But yeah, you'd think so. Especially given the fact that Mourinho had them as one of the top defensive sides last season. A new cb isn't going to stop the turgid, unadventurous football.

I dunno, Bailly looked good enough in his first season, but all of the others are inconsistent and prone to errors, apart from Lindelof, who is consistently shit, a massive fucking shithouse and can't head a ball.
