Back to other forums and meltdowns. It's a very funny distraction if you can be arsed. The 'Intelligent' forum on the Chelsea one is an absolute pearl if you fancy a giggle!

No worries. I tend to like looking at how the other half live - It gives a weird insight into something I have little or no interest in normally. Admittedly I need to shower lots after but it's a small price to pay for some comedy gold.

Insofar as it's the biggest independent fan forum, I meant. They have a lot of deluded posters, too. As for methods of running the place, I'd somewhat agree, RAWK is all the things you attribute to it and more. Not a happy place.

I don't really care about the politics or superfan approach of RAWK. For me it's just too big. Every thread seems to accumulate hundreds of posts in minutes, and unless you spend all your waking hours on there it's impossible to keep up.
I'll stick to the lazy, relaxed backwaters of SCM, thanks

This was the biggest reason I eventually settled here. Especially with the time difference for me, there was no way to actually participate in threads as they grew.

Turns out my acerbic cynicism probably wouldn't have been a good fit there either.

They also don't think we're going to win the AFCON this year.

The biggest difference between SCM and RAWK is how there is a seamless transition from Transfer of Player X to Cuisine A to Taytos to Hansern Rosco Spat to Transfer of Player X of Brendan Dreamy exchanges to Cuisine B all of them garnished with thoughts of Oncy/Dantes/Woland and long stream of consciousness posts from Moron in between. In RAWK, any change in thread direction would be the biggest sin.
